Big Sunday happily welcomes you to Our Really Big Community Calendar.
We try to include all kinds of volunteering and helping opportunities for all kinds of interests, talents, passions, and ages! As you’ll see, these include volunteering opportunities (one-time and long-term) as well as the chance to support a nonprofit by attending fundraising events. Plus, of course, we include all of Big Sunday’s homegrown events, too! Whoever you are, and whatever you do, there is someone out there who could use your help.

Garden Party 2017 is awaiting your RSVP! Dinner With a Cause celebrates the power of community in creating meaningful change and honors individuals who exemplify DWC's commitment to ending homelessness for women. This year, we're thrilled to honor U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein and Raul Anaya, President of Bank of America for the Los Angeles region.
California is home to 25% of our nation's homeless veterans!
You can help Team AMVETS by attendingVibes4Vets concert on October 14th, 2017, 6:00 – 9:30 pm. Taco dinner catered by @TacoRevolution is included.

Our 8th (1) Annual Halloween Haunted House and Party for a whole bunch of nice kids in need (and their families). As always, we'll have a costume giveaway, a portrait studio, Trunk or Treating, lots of arts & crafts, and, um, some candy, too. This event is not to be missed! (And dont forget your costume)
New Directions for Veterans
Join us as we pay tribute to veterans and honor our community members who help us fulfill our mission of empowering military men and women and their families to lead productive and fulfilling lives. Your participation will help veterans transition out of homelessness, find jobs, obtain housing and reunite with their families.
