Big Sunday happily welcomes you to Our Really Big Community Calendar.
We try to include all kinds of volunteering and helping opportunities for all kinds of interests, talents, passions, and ages! As you’ll see, these include volunteering opportunities (one-time and long-term) as well as the chance to support a nonprofit by attending fundraising events. Plus, of course, we include all of Big Sunday’s homegrown events, too! Whoever you are, and whatever you do, there is someone out there who could use your help.

Rooftop Concert | Art | Food Trucks | Drinks
One night each summer, Angelenos descend upon Inner-City Arts, turning the award-winning campus into the creative epicenter of Los Angeles. Art lovers from all over, including young professionals, Downtown residents and friends from the neighboring Arts District converge at the corner of 7th and Kohler to celebrate the transformational power of creativity.
Enjoy live music on the rooftop, gourmet food trucks, drinks, art installations and more! Proceeds from The 10th Annual Summer on Seventh event support the Inner-City Arts' mission and helps provide underserved youth in Los Angeles with access to free arts education.

Big Sunday’s harbor cruises are awesome! We host a big group of underserved and deserving folks on a special cruise through San Pedro Harbor. Many of these nice people have never been on a boat before! We need volunteers to host, be friendly, hand our donuts (of course!), enjoy one another and enjoy the ride. Become skilled at meeting, leading, and interacting with other people! Topics include Meeting New People, Team Dynamics, and Leadership & Conflict.
Participation in this formal volunteer opportunity is open to all area youth in 5th – 12th grades. The class will meet on July 18, 20, and 21 from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.

Each Monday morning at 10 am, we host a fun, hands-on service project at Big Sunday headquarters called MM@10 (Monday Mornings at 10). It’s a great way for folks of all ages to get together to help others.
