Big Sunday happily welcomes you to Our Really Big Community Calendar.
We try to include all kinds of volunteering and helping opportunities for all kinds of interests, talents, passions, and ages! As you’ll see, these include volunteering opportunities (one-time and long-term) as well as the chance to support a nonprofit by attending fundraising events. Plus, of course, we include all of Big Sunday’s homegrown events, too! Whoever you are, and whatever you do, there is someone out there who could use your help.

In need of CPR/First Aid training? ChildHelp Community Resource and Training Center is offering a course for $45, which includes the book, card and use of class materials; participants receive their card at the end of class. Each month Big Sunday collects at least 600 items in our popular monthly food drive to help hungry and grateful people. Sorting is October 16 from 10 -11 am. In October, Big Sunday will be doing a joint project with the Center for Early Education. Volunteers are asked to bring military care package items for soldiers and military families, including magazines, gum, playing cards, prepaid calling cards, books, movies, CDs and more! Can’t shop?
