Big Sunday happily welcomes you to Our Really Big Community Calendar.
We try to include all kinds of volunteering and helping opportunities for all kinds of interests, talents, passions, and ages! As you’ll see, these include volunteering opportunities (one-time and long-term) as well as the chance to support a nonprofit by attending fundraising events. Plus, of course, we include all of Big Sunday’s homegrown events, too! Whoever you are, and whatever you do, there is someone out there who could use your help.

Each year people from all walks of life join us to eat, sing (with a live band) and enjoy the holidays. Special guests have included low-income seniors, kids with challenges, women and children from a domestic violence shelter, veterans and others who needed a little extra TLC during the holidays. Each month Big Sunday collects at least 600 items in our popular monthly food drive to help hungry and grateful people. Sorting is December 16 from 10 -11 am. The Khalsa Care Foundation invites you to an afternoon fill of free fun for the entire family, including giveaways, free games, food and an awesome raffle. The KCF giveaway, sponsored by the Sikh Community of Los Angeles, will include food bags, winter warmth items (i.e. blankets, jackets, socks, hygiene kits, gloves and beanies) and toys (basketballs, soccer balls and kid’s toys).
