Big Sunday happily welcomes you to Our Really Big Community Calendar.
We try to include all kinds of volunteering and helping opportunities for all kinds of interests, talents, passions, and ages! As you’ll see, these include volunteering opportunities (one-time and long-term) as well as the chance to support a nonprofit by attending fundraising events. Plus, of course, we include all of Big Sunday’s homegrown events, too! Whoever you are, and whatever you do, there is someone out there who could use your help.

Join us for TM@10 at Big Sunday headquarters where we’ll host a different service project each week that benefits a worthy cause! Enjoy good food, good company and good deeds; everyone is welcome. Some of the groups we’re helping include Aviva Center, My Friend’s Place, Heal the Bay and lots of shelters, hospitals and senior facilities around all over town. Join ChildHelp Community Resource and Training Center for their free parenting classes. Classes are held in English from 1 – 3 pm and in Spanish from 3 – 5 pm. In need of CPR/First Aid training? Each year we collect and pack big bags full of Thanksgiving dinner for thousands of people, including vets, homeless families, women in domestic violence shelters, group homes, low-income families with autistic children, food pantries, schools and more as part of our End of the Month Club Initiative. This year will be even bigger! We need volunteers to donate food and pack up all the Thanksgiving goodies. We’ll all enjoy a community breakfast as well.
