Big Sunday happily welcomes you to Our Really Big Community Calendar.
We try to include all kinds of volunteering and helping opportunities for all kinds of interests, talents, passions, and ages! As you’ll see, these include volunteering opportunities (one-time and long-term) as well as the chance to support a nonprofit by attending fundraising events. Plus, of course, we include all of Big Sunday’s homegrown events, too! Whoever you are, and whatever you do, there is someone out there who could use your help.
If you have questions about our calendar, or would like to add a listing, please contact calendar@bigsunday.org or submit your event/opportunity via the button below.

Olive Crest’s 4th Annual Christmas in July Event is sponsored by the Filipino-American Law Enforcement Officers Association, which brings police and military vehicles, food, a DJ, activity booths and a jumper for the kids in this fun-filled day. It’s a free event, open to the community, and is a lot of fun!
Join the good folks at Hike It Up as they clean up trash at Hazeltine Park! This is a local park used by many people for birthday parties, team practices and other such group activities … usually leaving behind litter! Hike It Up also uses the park for community gatherings.
To participate, please bring gloves, little grabbers if you like (available at the dollar store) and wear comfortable clothes. Children are welcome to help out at this event and it's highly recommended. Hike It Up will provide materials as well including a few rakes, gloves, and bags to volunteers.
Don’t miss this community event to help our environment!
