Big Sunday happily welcomes you to Our Really Big Community Calendar.
We try to include all kinds of volunteering and helping opportunities for all kinds of interests, talents, passions, and ages! As you’ll see, these include volunteering opportunities (one-time and long-term) as well as the chance to support a nonprofit by attending fundraising events. Plus, of course, we include all of Big Sunday’s homegrown events, too! Whoever you are, and whatever you do, there is someone out there who could use your help.
If you have questions about our calendar, or would like to add a listing, please contact calendar@bigsunday.org or submit your event/opportunity via the button below.

Volunteers are asked to bring military care package items for soldiers and military families, including magazines, gum, playing cards, prepaid calling cards, books, movies, CDs and more! Can’t shop? We also accept money so we can shop for you! For more info, contact endofthemonthclub@bigsunday.org.

Don’t miss “Harvest Moon,” the Garden School Foundation's annual fundraiser. This year’s event will be especially exciting, as GSF’s 10-year anniversary of providing garden-based education to children in underserved communities. Celebrate with a six-course farm-to-table dinner curated by GSF’s amazing restaurant partners, as well as a mocktail hour in our beautiful garden. It’s going to be amazing and they need AT LEAST 70-100 dedicated volunteers to help execute this fabulous event. Volunteer roles will vary, they will need a large chunk volunteers to help with dinner service. Everyone is encouraged to help out, but peeps with serving & restaurant experience are especially needed! Yummy snacks and great company (and possibly GSF t-shirts) will be provided. For tickets and info, please contact Shelby Crowell.
