Big Sunday happily welcomes you to Our Really Big Community Calendar.
We try to include all kinds of volunteering and helping opportunities for all kinds of interests, talents, passions, and ages! As you’ll see, these include volunteering opportunities (one-time and long-term) as well as the chance to support a nonprofit by attending fundraising events. Plus, of course, we include all of Big Sunday’s homegrown events, too! Whoever you are, and whatever you do, there is someone out there who could use your help.

You're invited to Program for Torture Victim’s OPEN HOUSE from 4pm-7pm at their KOREATOWN office in recognition of WORLD REFUGEE DAY. They warmly hope you can join them for wine and appetizers! Come mingle with PTV’s board, staff, and volunteers, tour their facilities and see what they do every day to support Southern California's most vulnerable refugees.
Join this special group as they provide repairs to a snug home of a widow of a Korean War Vet. She has mobility issues and is confined to using a walker. The group has already built a concrete wheel chair ramp for the veteran and now they want to make her home safer, brighter and more comfortable. Skilled and unskilled volunteers over the age of 16 are needed!
As we dive into 2017, Dysonna is revved up and ready for "Perception of Reality" at the gorgeous Avalon Theatre in Hollywood. This theatrical art/fashion show is what everyone woman and girl needs in their lives, an uplifting and inspiring show that gives you the courage to be you and know that you can Run Your World!

Heart of LA’s (HOLA) Alumni will host a VIP Reception for HOLA graduating Seniors, Board members and Special Guests prior to the Graduation Ceremony, celebrating the accomplishments of elementary, middle, high school, college AND graduate school graduates in the Rampart District of Los Angeles.
