Big Sunday happily welcomes you to Our Really Big Community Calendar.
We try to include all kinds of volunteering and helping opportunities for all kinds of interests, talents, passions, and ages! As you’ll see, these include volunteering opportunities (one-time and long-term) as well as the chance to support a nonprofit by attending fundraising events. Plus, of course, we include all of Big Sunday’s homegrown events, too! Whoever you are, and whatever you do, there is someone out there who could use your help.

The Jessica M. Berman Wonder Woman Walk for Breast Cancer is looking for 100+ volunteers to help
on Sunday, September 18th, 2016. Volunteer assignments include registration, water stations, expo, start/finish line and kids zone.
The Jessica M. Berman WONDER WOMAN WALK for Breast Cancer benefits Tower Cancer Research Foundation, which provides funding for
important and innovative breast cancer research and patient support services. The Walk celebrates breast cancer survivors and honors those who
have lost their battle with the disease. You're invited to help support this great event!

The Emerson Avenue Community Garden Club is hosting the first annual Westchester Arts & Music (aka WAM!) Block Party, a free, day-long celebration filled with live music/dance, art, food and community. They’re closing down the street and opening up the garden for arts and crafts activities for all ages and a diverse mix of performances, vendors and food trucks, including Kogi BBQ! Assignments: Registration/T-shirts, Kids Run, Course monitors, water stations, and BBQ servers
Don't miss a fun night of community and BBQ! All volunteers receive community service credit, an event t-shirt and free bbq!
The Renegade Summer Trail Run Series benefits WeROCK (We Run Orange County’s Kids), a non-profit organization that provides after-school intervention programs for the Middle and High School students of Orange County. By delivering education and proper training for the completion of a 26.2 mile marathon, We ROCK teaches our community’s teenagers the important life skills of goal setting, self-reliance, discipline and self-confidence.
