Big Sunday happily welcomes you to Our Really Big Community Calendar.
We try to include all kinds of volunteering and helping opportunities for all kinds of interests, talents, passions, and ages! As you’ll see, these include volunteering opportunities (one-time and long-term) as well as the chance to support a nonprofit by attending fundraising events. Plus, of course, we include all of Big Sunday’s homegrown events, too! Whoever you are, and whatever you do, there is someone out there who could use your help.
If you have questions about our calendar, or would like to add a listing, please contact calendar@bigsunday.org or submit your event/opportunity via the button below.

Each year we collect and pack big bags full of Thanksgiving dinner for thousands of people, including veterans, homeless families, women in domestic violence shelters, group homes, low-income families, at-risk children, food pantries, schools and more. This year will be even bigger! We need volunteers to donate food and pack up all the Thanksgiving goodies. To RSVP, please click HERE.
On Thanksgiving morning, don't miss the Drumstick Dash 5K/10K as participants run with the stars on the backlot of CBS Studios for a great cause. All proceeds from the event go to provide meals, shelter, and clothing for homeless individuals throughout the greater Los Angeles area!
The theme is simple: "Move Your Feet So Others Can Eat!" Start your Thanksgiving morning off with some physical exercise for a great purpose!

If you are like most people, you know someone who has had breast cancer. One in eight women, and some men, will have the disease during their lifetime.
Now imagine a world without breast cancer. That's the vision of Susan G. Komen.

We love working for (and with!) veterans. We’ll be hosting vets from all over town. Together, we’ll enjoy great games (including our 1st-Ever Trivia Night) and entertainment from our amazing friends, The New Directions Veterans’ Choir, who are back for a return performance! We’ll also be writing letters to military personnel on active duty. Then, of course, everyone’s invited for a big, memorable Big Sunday community dinner. It’s a great way to show the vets how much we care!
We are collecting comic books for our pals at Operation Gratitude to include in their care packages that are sent to service members deployed overseas. We’re also collecting unexpired, non-perishable food for the Downtown VA as part of April’s End of the Month Club.
RSVP today by clicking HERE.
Interested in sponsoring this great event? Awesome! Sponsorships are $5000, $2500 and $1000. Please contact adam@bigsunday.org for details.
