Big Sunday happily welcomes you to Our Really Big Community Calendar

We try to include all kinds of volunteering and helping opportunities for all kinds of interests, talents, passions, and ages! As you’ll see, these include volunteering opportunities (one-time and long-term) as well as the chance to support a nonprofit by attending fundraising events. Plus, of course, we include all of Big Sunday’s homegrown events, too! Whoever you are, and whatever you do, there is someone out there who could use your help.

Main VectorOn Thanksgiving morning, don't miss the Drumstick Dash 5K/10K as participants run with the stars on the backlot of CBS Studios for a great cause. All proceeds from the event go to provide meals, shelter, and clothing for homeless individuals throughout the greater Los Angeles area!

The theme is simple: "Move Your Feet So Others Can Eat!" Start your Thanksgiving morning off with some physical exercise for a great purpose!

Join the City Impact Lab for a special impact tour of the world’s most famous neighborhood, Hollywood! A Day At The Races @ Santa Anita Race Track

Don your Sunday hats and join us at the race track for a day of derby fun to benefit deaf children and families at No Limits! 

Your $125 ticket includes delicious food and beverages in a private racing suite. You will be taken on a tour to see the horses, and watch a race from the finish line, along with clubhouse access with private wagering machines and live tellers. 

While valet parking is available, Lyft or Uber is encouraged to fully enjoy the afternoon!
