We would love to have you join our team as a volunteer. Prior to vol unteering we strongly reccomend that you participate in a tour of our faci lites. Tours are offered the second Saturday of the month at 10:00 am. NO TE: There will be no tour in December.\n\n\n Tours begin at our Farley Hous e Residence\, located at 1671 Beverly Blvd. Parking and entrance to the bu ilding are in the alley located one block north of Beverly Blvd.\, off Uni on Ave.\n\n\n The tour takes a little more than an hour and will be followe d by a Volunteer Information and Orientation. Tutoring is one on one and hours ar e flexible.\n \n\n Prepare (or cater) a meal and serve to residents at one o f our shelters\n \n\n Facilitate an employment related seminar-this can be a one time commitment.\n \n\n Organize our donation room. You must be able to work independently with little supervision. Hours are flexible but must b e weekdays\, during regular business hours. Great organizational abilities a plus!\n \n\n Facilitate a drive (food\, toiletries\, beauty products). \n\n Every Sunda y volunteers sign in at 7am and out at 1pm to help greet at the entrance g ates and offer information about ONEgeneration services\, help at the Bage l or Book booths\, or assist a Farmers or small business for the day. Thi s event is a walk in position so you can come any Sunday that you are avai lable from 7am to 1pm\, no partial shifts. \n
\n\n When volunteers s ign out at 1pm they will receive a completion letter for their hours if ne eded. \n
